The Live-Aboard

This 26 metre-long Phinisi Schooner is a comfortable size for groups of ten divers. She was built by the traditional boat builders in south Sulawesi. Onboard are six air conditioned guests cabins, each with ensuite toilet, shower and hand basin. Meals are served in an inside dining room and the shaded top deck has chairs for admiring the island scenery.
There is a dedicated rear dive deck with shade and deck shower. We have a maximum of 10 divers onboard, these are generally split into two groups, so a maximum of five divers in a group. There is a camera preparation area and charging stations along with 220 volt outlets There is also GPS navigation, depth sounder, radar and HF/VHF radio onboard. As well as two life-rafts for added safety. All this along with a friendly local crew who know the islands and their waters intimately, make these trips pure pleasure for experienced underwater photographers. |
